Urban Wine Company is Omaha's casual, contemporary and affordable wine bar experience for the enjoyment of fine wines, brews, spirits and tasty foods. The Urban Wine Company is a place that accommodates the wine enthusiast from
the novice to the connoisseur so they can feel right at home.
Not sure where to start? With over 40 boutique wines by the glass and 200 by the bottle, every region is well represented! Can't decide? Order a flight and taste three two-ounce servings of selected wines. Adventurous palates can design their own flight, or take advantage of premium pours which change monthly.
Our menu is all about sharing, so expect to find bites like smoked salmon, bruschetta and other wine-friendly fare, all reasonably priced, with most items less than $10. Or order one of three, themed cheese flights or build your own cheese plate. We look forward to serving you.

I simply have an awesome time when I get to visit at the Urban Wine Company. The wine choices are outstanding and very reasonable in price. The atmosphere is relaxing and the service is fabulous. I can't wait until I get to enjoy another glass of wine at my favorite spot The Urban Wine Company.

I personally did not have a good experience at Urban Wine. I found the service extremely slow and not very friendly or personable. Furthermore, no one who works there seems to actually know a whole lot about wine. The food was also mediocre.

Shawn and the rest of the staff at UWC provide a great european feel with that midwest comfort. A well versed wine drinker can have as much fun as a new-bie there at the UWC. My only question is where can I get a wine stained T-Shirt with the UWC logo?

They are knowledgeable, inovative, a little ecclectic and events are reasonably priced. The wines are diverse and its always a pleasant fun experience to visit / eat / drink and socialize at their events. Suitable for all adult ages and overall a nice place to visit!

My husband and I have been visiting Urban Wine since it opened. It's got a warm atmosphere, good specials, and superior staff. Their wine's not too bad either!

Fantastic wines and foods, and unbelievable service. The staff know your name when you return, and don't be surprised to find yourself chatting with the Sommelier while he pours you a favorite or two of his.

Great disappointment. You would think reading these reviews this place would be great.
We found the same wines they have at Hy Vee only with higher prices. The servers knew little about the wines they were selling and the food ... sure most appetizers are under 10 dollars a piece, but you need to order several to get close to being full (small portions).
You would be better off getting a good wine at a wine store and taking it somewhere to pay a cork fee.
These guys need to improve there selection of interesting wines and provide better food value if they want to sustain any type of business. I will try there again in a few weeks to see if I just caught them on a bad night.
