McKenna's began operating in December of 1991. It was a concept developed out of a love for different ethnic foods, and that love helped create the menu we have today. With an open air ambiance and the feel of a Louisiana Roadhouse, our founder, Billy McKenna, combined his passions for Blues Music and Spicy Southern BBQ to create an award winning product and restaurant concept. With a menu offering fine Pork, Beef and Chicken, all slowly smoked to perfection over hickory wood, seasoned by our own sauce and spices, it is no wonder we have grown to become Omaha's favorite BBQ restaurant!

We have always enjoyed going to McKenna's. The ten hour smoked brisket is the best in Omaha.

Centrally located (76th and Pacific) helps make this Omaha landmark one of the best BBQ joints in the country. The ribs and brisket are always top notch, served with the best sides in the metro. The live music, accompanied by knowledgable staff makes this a must for anyone that needs to eat.

McKenna's has the best BBQ bar none. I have had birthday parties there and the food everyone of my guest are like we need to come back. Also I love how they make sure they have a lot of variety on the menu, and the helpings leave you full. Also on the weekends they bring in some of the music in Omaha. I love how its located in the center of town and there is plenty of parking. Kyron and his staff are fantastic. Thanks again Michael

I love, love, love their pulled pork sandwiches. McKenna's always gives you a HUGE portion, so you'll never go hungry...great atmosphere, too!

I've been all over the southern region of this country and tried all sorts of BBQ and McKennas has it all ,from the rooter to the tooter the best pork and brisket in town.if you are in the area you need to stop by on Wednesdays for the Monster melt special its out of this world

I've never been failed or disappointed by this place. I'm an avid wing eater and they're wings are AMAZING! It's a finger-licking good establishment and the music is hard to match.
