Founded in 1958 by The Magistro Family, Don Carmelo's Pizzeria is now making great tasting pizzas in it's sixth decade! Don Carmelo and Mama Vincenzina Magistro brought Pizza (and their family) to this country from Sicily. Their first pizzeria was in Trenton New Jersey. Since then, members of the family
have made pizza from the East to West Coasts, before settling in Omaha.
Since 1980 when the Magistro family first brought New York style pizza to Omaha, we have spawned several imitators who have tried to copy our concepts and recipes. We prefer to think of this imitation as "the ultimate form of flattery."

Have always enjoyed their fantastic New York ,any combs and salads for years.Have never had a bad pizza or overall service.Always very nice,great service and clean place to hit.Won't find anyone close to the super pizza's and have been in alot of chains and smaller places and you can't top it.Thank you

This is one of the best pizzas in Omaha. Their crust is crispy and chewy somehow! And their cheese isn't too greasy. Love it!

Don Carmelo's pizza is very good. It tastes good but there is also a variety. You can choose between so many toppings and so many different styles. It also has a very good family freindly atmosphere.

I love Don Carmelos! They honestly have the BEST pizza in Omaha. Everything is made from scratch and you can always trust that they have the freshest ingredients. I love their chicken pesto and of course, the New York's FInest! Their staff is amazing and they make you feel like you're part of the Don Carmelos family --- Best pizzeria in Omaha!

I've been to all of the other pizza places in Omaha and they're mostly fine. Don Carmelo's is the only one I drive in from Kansas City to eat at every time. They're not just the best in Omaha. I can't find anybody in the Midwest that compares to them. DC's isn't just great "pizza", it's great cuisine. You can tell it's made by a chef, not just a "pizza slinger." "Just another pizza joint" promises to "load on the toppings" and thinks by weighing it, you get a better product. DC's is about balance and taste and the perfect crust. Now I have to plan another trip to the Big O 'cause I made my mouth water and my stomach grumble.
